October is the final month of the Bura Line season. Its autumn timetable, announced on 27 September, lasts until 31 October 2026, and the company had published nothing for later dates when we checked. Until the end of the month the boat sails every day, weekends included, three times in each direction.
From Trogir it leaves at 08:30, 11:15 and 15:15, calls at Slatine on Čiovo half an hour later and reaches Split at 09:30, 12:15 and 16:15. Return sailings leave Split at 09:45, 12:45 and 16:30 and arrive in Trogir at 10:45, 13:45 and 17:30. That 16:30 is your last chance of the day to get back to Trogir by sea.
The summer pattern was busier, with four sailings a day from 1 June to 19 July and again from 31 August to 27 September, and extra weekday trips in midsummer. The 2026 season began on 4 May with the same three-a-day timetable that applies now.

Ten euros to Trogir, and bring cash
What you pay is set by distance rather than by season. Split to Trogir is €10.00, Split to Slatine €7.00 and the short hop between Slatine and Trogir €6.00. Children aged 4 to 10, and islanders with an island card, pay €5.00 to Trogir and €4.00 on the shorter legs; under-fours travel free. A bicycle is charged as an adult.
Tickets are sold on board before departure and only for cash, and the company does not take reservations. According to the copy of the price list held by the port authority, tax and harbour dues are already included, and direction makes no difference.

Obala Lazareta in Split, the Čiovo side in Trogir
Split – berth 4, Obala Lazareta
In Split the boat uses berth 4 on Obala Lazareta, just east of the Riva promenade and much nearer the old town than the ferry piers. That is the berth in the port authority's departure list, and Bura Line gives its Split departure point as Obala Lazareta 1. In busy summers the company has warned that it may tie up a few metres away at berths 5 or 6 instead.
Trogir – Obala kralja Zvonimira
In Trogir the boat leaves from Obala kralja Zvonimira, on the Čiovo side of the bridge from the old town, not from Soline, where the Drvenik car ferry docks. Bura Line does not publish exact coordinates; the map marker sits on the landing on the same waterfront as recorded in OpenStreetMap. In Slatine the boat stops at the company's own point in the village.
Along Kaštela Bay to Čiovo and Trogir
From Split harbour the boat heads west along Kaštela Bay to Slatine, on the eastern part of Čiovo island, and then follows the Čiovo shore to Trogir. Bura Line quotes 30 minutes to Slatine, 25 minutes from Slatine to Trogir and 60 minutes for the whole trip, and the printed arrival times bear that out.
Catching the boat as a visitor
- Cash only
Money changes hands on board before departure, and Bura Line's price list says cash only.
- Be there early
The company asks passengers to be at the departure point 10 to 15 minutes before sailing.
- No bookings
Reservations are not taken; seats go to whoever is there first.
- Luggage and dogs
Luggage is allowed, and dogs can travel on a lead. The price list has no luggage charge.
- After 31 October
No November timetable has been announced. Last year the company's autumn timetable was only published up to 20 October.
Unlike the island lines around it, Bura Line receives no state contract; it is a commercial service run by a Slatine company founded in 2004. Its timetable is nevertheless public: as well as the company's own website, the Split Port Authority publishes it, and in October lists the boat Plavi Val with three daily departures from berth 4.
In Trogir, do not confuse it with the car ferry to Drvenik Mali and Drvenik Veli (line 606), which leaves from Soline, west of the old town. Other island boats from Split harbour, such as the line 9601 catamaran to Rogač and Milna, use different berths. In summer 2026 Bura Line also ran a separate Kaštela – Split boat, from 29 June to 28 August; that service has finished.
