Line 9601 is a state fast-ferry route that Krilo Shipping Company runs under contract to AOLPP, the state coastal shipping agency, using the catamaran KSC Orangina. From Split it sails to Rogač on Šolta and Milna on Brač, adding Sutivan in summer. The agency and the operator publish the same winter timetable.
So why is Sutivan in the name but not on the boat? In the 2026 timetable Sutivan is served only in the summer months (29 May – 27 September); the operator even markets it as a separate seasonal service. For the rest of the winter timetable, up to 31 December, the catamaran runs Split – Rogač – Milna and nothing else.
The winter pattern suits people living on the islands rather than visitors from Split. Six mornings a week, Sunday aside, the catamaran leaves Milna at 06:25 and is in Split at 07:30, going back at 14:30 or 18:30. On Sundays it runs the other way round: out of Milna at 16:00, back from Split at 18:30.

€5.00 to Brač, €4.70 to Šolta in the off-season
Winter fares are noticeably lower than summer ones. Split to Milna is €5.00 for an adult, and Split to Rogač or Rogač to Milna is €4.70; until 27 September the same trips cost €7.70 and €6.60. Going either way costs the same, and port dues and VAT are built into the price.
Children between 3 and 12 are charged €3.20 to Milna and €2.90 on the other two legs; under-threes travel free. Where the boat has proper pet boxes, a pet in a box is charged half an adult fare.

Finding the catamaran in Split, Rogač and Milna
Split city harbour, catamaran berths near the Riva
Catamarans do not use the big car-ferry piers around Gat sv. Duje; they tie up in the western part of the harbour, closer to the Riva promenade. Krilo Shipping Company says its boat uses berths 6 and 7, while the Port of Split Authority's departure board allocated berth 5 to KSC Orangina on 30 September 2026. The port authority's live timetable at plovidbeni.portsplit.hr shows the berth for your day.
Milna harbour, Brač
Milna sits at the head of a deep inlet on Brač's west coast, and in winter it is where every sailing on this line starts or finishes. Boats leave Milna at 06:25 from Monday to Saturday and at 16:00 on Sundays; the arrivals from Split come in at 19:30 on weekdays and Sundays and at 15:30 on Saturdays.
Split to Šolta first, then across to western Brač
From Split the catamaran heads south-west to Rogač, Šolta's harbour on the island's north coast, then crosses to Milna on the west coast of Brač. Krilo Shipping Company puts Split to Rogač at about 30 minutes; the 18:30 from Split is timetabled into Rogač at 19:00 and Milna at 19:30.
In summer the catamaran also calls at Sutivan, on Brač's north coast between Split and Milna. Once the summer timetable ended on 27 September, those calls stopped until the end of 2026.
Before you board a small island catamaran

Line 9601 takes no vehicles. If you need your hire car on Šolta, Jadrolinija's car ferry line 636 from Split to Rogač is a separate service with its own fares.

Krilo Shipping Company's Split–Rogač page says each ticket includes one piece of luggage per passenger.
- Buying tickets
The operator sells tickets on ksc.hr and at the port. There is no price difference between directions.
- Saturdays are thin
On Saturdays there is one sailing each way: 06:25 from Milna and 14:30 from Split. On Sundays it is 16:00 from Milna and 18:30 from Split.
- Christmas and New Year
On public holidays the boats follow the Sunday column. Christmas Day 2026 is a Friday, so the 06:25 from Milna does not run that day; the boats are 16:00 from Milna and 18:30 from Split.
For a visitor based in Split, that rules out a day trip to Milna on this boat in winter: the first departure from Split is at 14:30 and the next boat back from Milna leaves the following day. Rogač on a weekday is the exception — the 14:30 from Split arrives at 15:00 and turns round at 15:30, which is a ride rather than a visit.
This catamaran is not the only link between Split and these islands. Jadrolinija's line 636 car ferry also serves Rogač, and other fast lines towards Hvar call at Milna; their timetables are not covered on this page.
Line 9601 out of season: Sutivan, Šolta and getting back
Does the catamaran stop at Sutivan in October?
No. Sutivan is a summer-only call, from 29 May to 27 September in 2026. Until the year is out, the catamaran sails only Split – Rogač – Milna.
Can I go from Šolta to Brač on this boat?
Yes, Rogač to Milna costs €4.70. The catamaran leaves Rogač for Milna at 19:05 on weekdays and Sundays and at 15:05 on Saturdays; the other way, it leaves Milna for Rogač at 06:25 from Monday to Saturday and at 16:00 on Sundays.
Does the 14:30 from Split go to Milna?
Only on Saturdays. From Monday to Friday it terminates at Rogač at 15:00 and heads back to Split at 15:30.
Which is the last catamaran from Split to Milna?
The 18:30 on weekdays and Sundays, arriving at 19:30. On Saturdays the only departure is at 14:30, arriving at 15:30.
How much is a ticket for a family to Milna?
Winter prices are €5.00 for each adult and €3.20 for each child from 3 to 12; babies and toddlers under three go free.
