Crikvenica – Baška – Lopar – Rab catamaran (line 323): a summer-only boat, finished for this year

Looking for a boat from Crikvenica to Rab or from Baška to Lopar this autumn? There isn't one. Jadrolinija's new catamaran line 323, branded the Kvarner Bridge, ran only from 24 June to 30 August 2026, and no dates have been announced for 2027.

Looking for a boat from Crikvenica to Rab or from Baška to Lopar this autumn? There isn't one. Summer 2026 was the first season for Jadrolinija's fast line 323, which the company called the Kvarner Bridge. Its catamaran, the Silba, with 310 seats, sailed from 24 June to 30 August on the route Kraljevica – Crikvenica – Senj – Baška – Lopar – Rab – Lun.

Until 9 July it sailed four days a week (Wednesday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday), and from 10 July every day. The pattern was the same throughout: one morning departure from Kraljevica at 07:45, Crikvenica around 08:45, Rab at 12:00 or 12:15, and one afternoon return leaving Rab at 17:45 and reaching Crikvenica at 21:00. From Friday to Sunday it went on to Lun on Pag.

Jadrolinija has not yet said whether the line will return in 2027. Until it does, Rab and Krk are reached from this part of Kvarner by car ferry or by other fast boats, and this page keeps the 2026 timetable and fares as a reference for anyone planning ahead.

Kraljevica harbour

Obala kralja Tomislava, Kraljevica · Town of Kraljevica · Primorje-Gorski Kotar County

The route began in Kraljevica, at the head of the line, with a 07:45 departure and a 22:00 return. Jadrolinija's timetable does not name a berth in Kraljevica or Crikvenica, so check the boarding point on your ticket if the line returns.

Lun, Tovarnele harbour (Pag)

Tovarnele, Lun, island of Pag · Town of Novalja · Lika-Senj County

Tovarnele near Lun, on the northern tip of Pag, was the far end of the line, though not every day: in late June and early July the catamaran skipped Lun on Wednesdays, and from 10 July to 30 August it turned round in Rab from Monday to Thursday. The same landing is used all year by Rapska plovidba's small boat to Rab.

Down the mainland coast, then across to Krk, Rab and Pag

From Kraljevica the catamaran followed the mainland coast to Crikvenica and Senj, then crossed to Baška at the southern end of Krk, Lopar on northern Rab and Rab town, continuing at weekends to Lun at the tip of Pag. Jadrolinija's description of the line mentions the passage beneath the Velebit range and through the Senj Gates. No total journey time was published; the timetable shows 07:45 from Kraljevica and 12:30 into Lun.

Getting to Rab and Krk while the catamaran is off

  • Krk to Rab by car ferry

Jadrolinija's line 338 from Valbiska on Krk to Lopar on Rab keeps running on its winter timetable through to 31 December, so the two islands stay linked, with or without a car.

  • Rijeka to Rab by fast boat

Fast line 9309 Rijeka – Rab – Novalja runs every day out of season; the only gaps in 2026 are 1 January, 5 April and 25 December.

  • From the mainland

Rapska plovidba's car ferry 337 between Stinica and Mišnjak on Rab sails all year in the AOLPP timetable, with fewer trips on Christmas Day and New Year's Day.

  • Rab to Lun

A small Rapska plovidba boat, the Maslina, keeps Rab and northern Pag connected in winter on three days a week.

  • Watching for 2027

Jadrolinija's line 323 page still shows only the 2026 timetable. A new season would come with its own dates and fares.

How the Kvarner Bridge line began

At the launch in Crikvenica, the Minister of the Sea, Transport and Infrastructure noted that the line linked two counties, Primorje-Gorski Kotar and Lika-Senj. Jadrolinija started with four sailings a week and switched to a daily service in July, and for the first few days, until 28 June, it offered a promotional discount code.

The last leg, Rab to Lun, has a year-round counterpart in the Maslina boat between Rab and Lun, a much smaller vessel. If you are heading on through Kvarner to Cres and Lošinj, the crossing from Istria is the Brestova to Porozina car ferry. From Crikvenica itself, the small passenger boat to Šilo on Krk keeps running through the winter, Monday to Saturday.
