In winter this line has three ports: Ubli on Lastovo, Korčula town and Gruž, Dubrovnik's passenger port. Sobra on Mljet is part of the line's name, but the catamaran only calls there in the summer timetable, between 29 May and 27 September, and then only on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays on the way out to Lastovo. Since 28 September it has sailed straight past Mljet.
Monday to Saturday the boat leaves Ubli at 06:00, waits in Korčula from 07:20 to 07:40 and reaches Gruž at 09:50. On Sundays everything is an hour later at the start: 07:00 from Ubli, Korčula from 08:20 to 08:30, Dubrovnik at 10:40. The return never changes: 13:00 from Gruž, 15:20 from Korčula, and into Ubli at 16:40.
Seen from a Dubrovnik hotel, Lastovo is an overnight trip at least: once you arrive at 16:40, nothing leaves Ubli again before 06:00 the following day. Islanders get the opposite deal, a morning in Dubrovnik between 09:50 and 13:00. This winter timetable runs to 31 December 2026; what comes after it in January has not yet been released by AOLPP.

Winter fares: €10.90 to Lastovo, €10.20 to Korčula
Only three journeys are on sale in winter, because only three are sailed. An adult pays €10.90 from Dubrovnik to Ubli, €10.20 from Dubrovnik to Korčula and €6.75 between Korčula and Ubli. Direction makes no difference, and the port fee and VAT are built in.
The fare sheet leaves the Sobra prices blank for the off-season, since the boat does not call at Mljet until summer. For comparison, the summer 2026 fare from Dubrovnik to Ubli was €14.25.

Gruž port, Korčula's old-town quay and Ubli
Korčula town is the only stop in between, visited twice a day: in the morning on the way to Dubrovnik (07:20 to 07:40, Sundays 08:20 to 08:30) and in the afternoon on the way to Lastovo (15:10 to 15:20). TP Line does not say which quay it uses; the map marks the passenger landing on the western side of the old town as shown in OpenStreetMap. Vela Luka, at the other end of Korčula, is not on this line.
Dubrovnik – Gruž port
The timetable just says "Dubrovnik". The island catamarans, TP Line's line 9807 to Šipan and Mljet among them, use Gruž, Dubrovnik's passenger port north-west of the city centre, and not the little Old Town harbour beneath the walls; that is where you board line 9808 too. No berth number is published. The boat for Korčula and Lastovo leaves at 13:00; the morning boat from the islands arrives at 09:50, or 10:40 on Sundays.
Ubli, Lastovo
Ubli is Lastovo's harbour for everything that comes from the mainland and the far end of line 9808. The catamaran overnights here, leaves at 06:00 (07:00 on Sundays) and is back from Dubrovnik at 16:40. The timetable gives no berth.
West from Dubrovnik to Korčula, then out to Lastovo
Westbound out of Gruž, the first and only stop is Korčula's walled town on the island's eastern tip. From Korčula the boat swings south-west and crosses open water to Lastovo, entering the harbour at Ubli. How many miles that is, and how long each leg takes, is not stated by AOLPP or TP Line; the timetable gives clock times and nothing else.
Lastovo on foot: the practicalities
- Gruž, not the Old Town
Allow time to get from the Old Town out to Gruž port. The catamaran does not use the small harbour below the city walls.
- Rental cars stay on the mainland
Line 9808 carries foot passengers only. To take a car to Lastovo you would need Jadrolinija's car ferry from Split via Vela Luka, which is a different line with its own timetable.
- Tickets
Book through TP Line's web shop, which is where tp-line.hr itself now lands.
- Bags and pets
Nothing on the 2026 price list charges for suitcases. A cat or dog in a carrier box, on boats equipped for it, pays half the normal fare.
- Christmas Day
Friday 25 December is the one day left in 2026 without a sailing; the rest of December runs as normal.
How this line fits with Mljet and Split
The same company runs the catamaran from Gruž to Šipan and Sobra on Mljet, line 9807. In summer the two lines meet at Sobra; in winter line 9808 skips Mljet entirely, so the only catamaran from Dubrovnik to Mljet is line 9807, leaving Gruž at 14:30.
Lastovo has a second TP Line catamaran leaving Ubli in the early morning: line 9604 via Vela Luka and Hvar to Split. Between them the two lines give the island fast links in both directions along the coast, but no single boat runs from Dubrovnik to Split this way: you choose 9808 for Dubrovnik and 9604 for Split.
Getting to Lastovo from Dubrovnik: what to expect
Where in Dubrovnik do I catch the Lastovo catamaran?
At Gruž, the passenger port north-west of the centre. The timetable only says "Dubrovnik", but the island catamarans run from Gruž, not from the Old Town harbour. It leaves at 13:00 every day.
Can I visit Lastovo as a day trip from Dubrovnik?
No. Once the boat ties up in Ubli at 16:40 it stays there overnight, setting off again at 06:00 (07:00 on Sundays).
Will it stop at Mljet on the way?
Not until summer. Sobra is only served between 29 May and 27 September, on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays heading for Lastovo. For Mljet in winter, take line 9807.
What does it cost to reach Lastovo?
Gruž to Ubli is €10.90 for an adult this winter and €6.90 for children between three and twelve. Getting off at Korčula town instead costs an adult €10.20 from Dubrovnik.
Does this catamaran stop in Vela Luka?
No. Its only Korčula stop is Korčula town. Vela Luka is on TP Line's other Lastovo line, 9604, which continues to Hvar and Split.
Will the catamaran sail on 25 December?
It will not: Christmas Day is the one date left in 2026 on which line 9808 is not operated. Every other day keeps the normal pattern.
